i have about 100 short (12mb 'ish) .swf movies.
i want to batch convert them to avi files (for post processing).
i have windows 7 64-bit and the clips will only open in a browser.
free would be nice, but what else?

I did it with megui it let me convert them into a high compressed h264 file with AAC audio. Its the only way to go if your serious about video conversion.

Actually nvm that was not swf that was youtube format, I forget what its called off the top of my head but its flashed based as well so the conversion may has worked the same.
