    Back on my previous NB, which was on XP home, i had this window to manage my wifi connections [​IMG]

    now i have a new NB with XP pro, and it pops this up to see connections [​IMG].

    I liked the older one, it was easier and found more connections... whats up with this? what's the diff?

    Do you have a Intel ProWireless card? I would suggest running the Intel software if you do have the card.

    I have Windows XP Pro on my lappy and I had the first window above until I installed the Intel Pro wireless drivers which then took over everything... Now mine doesn't look like either of the two windows above. But I like it better.

    thanks, yeah i downloaded the whole software package from intel for the PRO2915 but only used the drivers folder, tossed the rest. I'll redownload that folder and use the software too. Hope its better.
