    compose mail icon?

    Can one put a "write" icon on desktop to open a new compose message? I have mozilla thunderbird. How do I do it? I want to be able to compose message without opening thunderbird.

    Create a shortcut to:

    "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe" -compose

    Ok, I'm able to get to the Thunderbird.exe... but what do I do with "compose" ?? there isn't anything to click for "compose" ??

    You put that parameter in the shortcut properties (in the end of Target)

    im guessing -compose will open up the write page in thunderbird

    I don't know how to do this? Shortcut properties? It only lets me select a file itself, which is Thunderbird.exe
