This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    can't uninstall bittorrent bar

    I installed bittorrent. When I uninstalled it, the tool bar that came with stayed behind. I tried the uninstall program in the control panel. I tried deleting it directly from the program folder. I tried reinstalling and uninstalling bittorrent. I also tried the registry editor. It's still there, how do I delete it?

    nevermind, I reinstalled firefox, and it's all good now.

    Good you got it sorted.
    But when uninstalling I always use REVO uninstaller, it cleans all files related to the program (including registry) your uninstalling, and the I run Ccleaners registry cleaner and disc clean-up utility to make sure everythings completely gone.
