    bootvis question.

    I ran bootvis and im getting this thing that says Warning! Disk write caching is disabled in red. What does this mean?

    bootvis can be quirky sometimes :)
    some saying that having disk cache write ENABLED would slow down performance - i personally have not seen any difference
    check your hard drive properties to see if the write cache is enabled and just ignore the warning noting that u do have a fast drive

    It means your HDD performance is about to crap out. Write caching allows for much faster write times by changing the contents of a cache rather than wait for the data to actually be written to the platters on your HDD, which takes an agonizingly long time in comparison.

    Find your HDD in the Device manager, right click on it, go to its properties, and find the option to enable write caching. Re-enable that pronto!

    It was already enabled... apparently its a bug in Bootvis?
