i am wanting to mke a bootable external hard drive incase my hard drives fails, they are in raid0. THus reason to make a bootable clone
i havent found a software yet that meets my needs any ideas,.

After some googling, looks like my initial hunch was right: what you're trying to do won't be easy if it's even possible. Cloning a RAID 0 array to a single drive doesn't look like it'll be feasible to me, then there's the little matter of Windows not wanting to install or boot from USB drives. eSATA works for booting Windows from it, but that doesn't solve the issue of cloning a RAID array to a single drive.

If you can overcome the RAID 0 issue you can get this drive that is certified for Windows 8 Enterprise's "Windows 2 Go"

Do partition clone? A raid 0 partition/volume is the same as 1 disk partition window wise. Just make sure edit the registry so ahci and raid controller both turn to on.
Or am i missing something in the question? -
