ok, so I'm buying an Asus S96j and I'm undecided on what OS to get because I heard that XP MCE doesnt play games as well as Home, is this true? or do they play exactly the same?

Buying MCE is a waste of money and it slows down your performance. Get Home or Professional. Unless you;re using a TV tuner don't use XP MCE

You can get MCE like programs anyway so save money and go for Home. FYI, i use Pro with a program called Mediaportal.
