    Hello,
a friend has a new Macbook and I kind of like the webcam software with all the effects he has, but isn't there something like that for windows ???
I think that there should be something even better, ain't I'm right???

also, from my former asus g1s laptop I was used that it has shown a step by step change when I pressed the volume button... now it doesn't, it shows it just very inaccurate in the taskbar and I'd like something accurate on screen... what can I do???

also my Logitechc VX Revolution... I'd love to use the zoom +/- button to change volume, but when I set it in setpoint, it doesn't work...

thank you very much for suggestions !!!

Theres a few webcam programs for windows but they arent free. If you have ubuntu theres something called Cheese. http://www.gnome.org/projects/cheese/data/screenshots/cheese-2.22.0_2.jpg

As for the volume OSD (on-screen display), i dont know any third party programs. These programs usually come default with the notebooks buttons. (eg HP's have Quicktouch). Oh and ubuntu has this too by default lol

Funny, while I had Vista there was an in-built program or whatever that showed the volume on the graphical slider while I adjusted it. There is no such a thing in XP, but you can do that with Dell QuickSet (is that what you referred to as 'dell original application'?). I see nothing wrong with it; well, maybe it's a bit low on the aesthetics, but nothing too shabby.
