    best battery measuring software?

    i want one that will predict battery time left and use very little resources.
    free or commercial, it doesn't matter
    any ideas?

    I use NHC. It gives you very helpful statistics about your laptop. I think it works on Turion processors now. You just have to fiddle around the settings so it show the remaining time on your taskbar.

    Centrino/Notebook Hardware Control is very useful for it. I like it because it shows the timer exactly on the taskbar (as an icon)

    I also use Notebook Hardware Control. It is a must have if you have a laptop. You can also undervolt with it. It is just a great free program.

    imho, the best measurement is: use the laptop for a couple of weeks on battery as much as possible and mesure the leftover power when you turn it off. At the end you'll have something along the lines of a stress test with your pattern behaviour in it, which will give you how long *your* laptop is going to last :)
