Hi.
Just like a lot of televisions do with light sensors?
It would be great if someone to make one.

John.

I dont think so, but i may be wrong.
The thing is that the webcam would have to be running constantly, which would drain battery and would be annoying on some PCs, lol (Mine has a bright blue light and it is annoying. -

Im sure it could be done but the script would probably have to be pretty specific to each computer so a premade program is probably a no go.
However, some notebooks like the M50 have built in light sensors, and I think the greater majority of people found they did not like the computer adjusting the screen for them because it was sort of inaccurate for the enviroment, and so they manually turned it off. -

It just has to adjust vista or xp`s main brightness level.
I have 3 Panasonic tv`s and they all have the light sensor and i always leave them on auto.

I always just leave my screen to maximum brightness (except on battery of course). Not like laptop screens are the brightest screens around anyway.

I don't think theres a program for it.
However, my Latitude D531 can autosense it when on battery because it has an ambedient light sensor...hm. -
