Any good music players out there? I like wmp 11 but i have lots of cds and after something that allows me to quickly find and play songs etc. I have been told of media monkey, but has anyone used it, any good? any other suggestions.
    Thanks

Used a ton of media players, i like foobar2000. You should just go on a downloading spree to find out for yourself what floats your boat.

I like foobar2000, but its just so spartan, then again, you can tweak it to your heart's content. I like Media Monkey, but you have to pay for more features. I like Winamp too, but like Calvin said, find whichever you like best.

I recommend you use this wikipedia page that has a massive list of players. Just browse through ones that you feel have the features you want and then check if it's compatible with your OS and download and try.

iTunes anyone? Also, like b.a.m.f. said, winamp is a good choice as well, especially if you don't have an ipod and don't want the extra baggage that comes with iTunes.

Foobar, if you like the challenge of configuring and customizing. Even if you don't use it as a player, it's very useful as a ripper and encoder. But I really like the ways you can arrange your libraries in Winamp and tend to use it the most. iTunes is actually pretty good as well.

I think iTunes is decent. However it is a little slow with my 1,000 song library. Maybe that will speed up when I install more ram. I also like Mediamonkey. I use Mediamonkey to get my album art that iTunes can't find. I also tried Foobar2000 but I am just too lazy to figure out how to modify it to my liking. :p

If you're gonna say that a program is the best at least explain in detail why you think so. Otherwise it's a useless opinion.
