Ok so heres my issue: When ever i try to initiate all kill signals (Shutdown/hibernate) vista decides to crash. after taking anywhere from 5-10 minuits with the screen saying "Shutting down" it BSoDs. When it does so it tells me that there has been a "Power driver failure". What do you guys think the problem is?

I called dell tech support and the guy told me to completely reinstall my os...not happening. I wanna get down to the root of this problem not apply the pretty coating of paint and hope it goes away.

    Anyone got any advice?

    Thanks in advance.
