Runs fine, but no reason not to use a free program.

Well I used it for a year until my license expired, and switched to Avast. Really, I don't get many viruses to start with, but both programs run fine.

blahhhhh imo aweful. take a lot longer to boot up a lot of slowdown compared to others uses a ton of memory, and doesnt have the best detection (good but not the best by a good amount), i am not at all a trend fan. also if you decide to uninstall it make sure to use the uninstall tool for it on the net. dont just do a simple windows uninstall.. it leaves stuff everywhere. almost as bad as nortons in this area.

there are far better alternatives imo. my fav suite while not free though is avira the one issue i saw with it was the firewall would not stealth port 80 set to default but if you set a quick rule all ports stealth and a-ok.. almost always has the highest detection rates and almost no slowdown or bog at all on the computer. uses little ram also. but its a bit pricey. thats the reason i am using kaspersky i took advantage of the amazon deal and i got three boxed versions each for three pc's. they are 65$ and offer a 65$ rebate all you need is a couple different address' and you can get multiple rebates. and their lic dont expire so i got three years covered for three pc's. and even kaspersky blows away pc-cillian..yuck

also look to bitdefender a great suite and very light and available for a full year for free. if you need info lmk ill get you the links

also to note i have used pretty much everything out there before deciding ...
nod's ess, avira, kis7 and 6, nortons 2006-2008, mcafee, trend, f-secure, bitdefender (another great alternative that can be bought pretty cheap), avg, f-prot, vba, rising av, moon av (yup lol), and numerous others from different small av companies. i have decided on kaspersky (for now at least)..
