I have Dell Inspiron 8600 with Window XP Home. Tried Yahoo! Map today and found it doesn't work: It shows the map frame only, with nothing in it, and the status bar says "Error on page". No problem with mapquest.com.

My Latitude D600 has no problem with Yahoo! Map.

Anybody knows why is that? Thanks.

What web browser are you using?
Some sites dont work with mozilla (firefox) web browsers.
However, I have gotten both sites to work with firefox and internet explorer.

I tried Yahoo! Map again with driving from location A to B. Looks like it works, but the status bar still says "Error on page". Guess there is some minor error somewhere on that page. The driving step by step looks just fine. Well I'll never mind that...

    Thaks Run1track for your reply.

Both 8600 and D600 use internet explorer.

Does it have something to do with the Java Runtime Environment?
If you don't mind, try upgrading it to see if it solves the problem.
