Remember the Windows Feedback Panel program?

Well I just received my Vista Ultimate 32/64bit CD today!! Now I can actually uninstall the software that has been spying on my system for the last 3 months. What a relief...

So, who else got their CD?

    Nice!

I started the program about 2 weeks or so ago, but unfortunately, my computer crashed pretty hard to the point where I am unable to recover it so I think I am going to be out of the program.

Nice to here you got your disk though, did you end up having to do a lot of those surveys?

The Windows Feedback Program has been going on for that long? I thought it started a couple weeks ago. No wonder there was no more gifts available.

I signed up as soon as it was posted on here and didn't make the cut off either. I could have really used a copy of Office Ultimate on my other laptop.

I got my cd today as well. Used a virtual image to sign up with, and haven't used the image since, nor have I filled out a survey.

@Jamesmoon2 Yeah it just appeared on my mail box.

This program actually started several months ago. For some reason it just took a while to make headline.

    Hey...
I'm having similar question about licensing as well. Anyway... I don't want to waste the license on my laptop, which already has vista premium. Is it possible to "transfer" license later on? Or can you only activate it once?

    Hi!

Someone could tell how to activate that program.

I got a new laptop 1 month ago and new here.

    I found it`s a very instructive forum .

    Thanks!!

I just got mine too. Do you all know are we done now or are we expected to keep going? I sent my computer back yesterday that had the software but I will download it on the new one I order if necessary.

The sheet of paper that accompanied my set of discs stated that they were the retail versions, so I'd imagine yes, the license can be transferred indefinitely. OEM versions as I understand are tied to the original system.

Somehow I was able to weasel my way into getting Vista Ultimate 2 months ago so that I COULD participate (at the time only Vista users could participate)...I'm still waiting to see how well they track the "gifts" as I am hoping to get OFfice 2007 as well =D

    ok thanks. :)

Anyway I had a crazy day upgrading my laptop to Ultimate. lol

By the way some warnings for people upgrading to Ultimate:
    1. SP1 disables the "upgrade" option
    2. SP1 ruins the already not-so-ultimate extras. Install dreamscene and other extras before installing Sp1.
    3. After installing Deskscapes you must reinstall your video driver.
