    Guys, a simple survey.
If you are a netbook user or a potential netbook user,
do you prefer Windows7 Starter or XP?
What's the premium that you'd like to pay for W7S over XP on the same config, $10 or $20?
Will you pay addition $80 or $120 for the upgrade to Windows7 Home Premium?

    Thanks! ;)

Whatever comes stock with the machine is good enough to do what a netbook performance offers. No sense to bastle around with it.

    cheers ...

Windows XP. Windows 7 Starter restricts you from a lot of things XP won't. I hope Home Premium will appear more common.

Sure, review and validate one's needs before any commitments to invest in hardware or software.

It is fine also to wish to "upgrade" systems from a lower off the shelves offer, and prepare not to disappointed when it does not work out as expected.

    cheers ...
