    Hey.
I just got my computer back from a guy who was fixng it for me. He had to put vista back onto my computer.
The thing is, I dont seem to have windows media center and on the MS website, i cant find an option to to put it back on without re-buying vista.
    Any suggestions???

try if you can find ehshell.exe in C:\windows\ehome or C:\Program Files\Windows Media Center , if its there then try executing the file directly

if you can then goto Default Programs set WMC all its defaults .

A repair/reinstall is your best bet. You cannot add the module after the fact. Good luck.

    cheers ...

Insert the install disk, select language etc then click repair at the bottom of the screen.

No point in babbling, it's a relatively simple process, and I did it two days ago after repartitioning the HD :D

    8 hours later that's a long repair.

I wish more people would let us know how they're making out. Kind of senseless, to ask a question, and then not to.

Haha, can you imagine a "repair" installation breaking a computer :p
