Hi Windows XP keeps on restarting itself before getting to the welcome screen.

It also restarts itself in safe mode and also when using the windows xp boot disc.

What do I do? I'm 100% sure its a virus

My Computer > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > System failure: uncheck all except "Write an event..."

that way you'll at least get to see the BSOD + whatever the error is

of course this advice is useless if you can't ever get to the desktop, hm

zijin_cheng, when you turn on the computer do you hear any beeps, possibly indicating bad RAM?
Are you able to get into the BIOS? Does the boot drive show up in BIOS? I would suggest you reset the BIOS to all default settings.
IF none of this helps, then I would scan for Viruses with a protection program on a bootable USB flash drive such as this:
    http://www.precisesecurity.com/tools-resources/free-antivirus/virus-scan-kaspersky-usb/
This will also help narrow down the issue, if it will not boot from USB it could be a motherboard issue.
