    Morning everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well :D.

I have been searching the forum to find out the difference between Microsoft Windows XP Home for Ultra Low Edition and Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition.

I am aware one is for netbook and other is for pc/notebooks however what is the main difference?

I have a DELL Mini 910 Netbook and I am wondering whether to install DELL's Ultra Low Windows XP Home (their ORG CD) or Windows XP Home (My ORG CD). Obviously there is a number at the back of the netbook to use when installing our own Windows XP Home Edition.

Can someone please help me with this? I am not sure what is better and why? I mean is there a major difference between the two?

    Many Thanks in advance

    Regards

    Jehanzeb

there is no "Ultra Low" version. the only thing is, xp does only get sold for "Ultra Low End" devices.

but it's still the same xp home.

aha so when it says Windows XP Home for Ultra Low Cost PC, its in actual fact the same Windows XP Home which we use to get for our normal machines.

Oh man and I thought there is some technical difference which I am not aware off. I have to accept that not many people talk about this.

Anyhow, Many Many thanks for your quick and easy to understand response.

    Regards

    Jehanzeb
