So i wanted to dual boot Vista and XP, first i installed XP on ATA mode, installed SATA drivers, turned on again and everything worked perfectly, then i installed Vista on another partition, when first booted it i got the BSOD and turned SATA off in BIOS, booted and installed SATA drivers as i did in XP, then rebooted and turned SATA on again but surprise! I got BSOD again :S so, i must have done something wrong... any help would be welcome :D

As far as I know, Vista shouldn't care about whether SATA is enabled or disabled, and it shouldn't need drivers. What kind of computer are you trying to install on?

It's a Dell 1330, however i already found a solution, it was adding the drivers on the own vista install, since it wasnt able to install it properly by its own... now seems to be working ok :D
