I figure since it is Spring Cleaning time I should run through my computer and do the same. So far I have:

Gotten Rid of Un-Needed files and programs
Ran TuneUp Utilities Speed Up Optimizer
    Ran CCleaner
    Defragmented with TuneUp Utilities
and ran Windows Disc Clean Up

Anything else I should do to help optimize my computer at this time (and How often should I redo the above processes)

if you're a fanatic, do it every day (i used to).

if you're just wanting to use a computer, then i'd say every fortnight. And lose the Tuneup Utlities, as it really doesn't do much.

spybot has a nice browser cleaner inside it, usually finds things missed in other programs.

Also, regvac from superwin [30 day free trial] picks up a LOT more in the way of bad registry entries than CC. Just stick with the safe side of the program and you're GTG.

ccleaner, defraggler, disccleaner, defragbootfiles.bat (from this very forum).

i do this irregularly maybe twice a year by now. (except defragmenting as i'm on an ssd). for win7, that's enough that's needed.
