This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Windows Vista Search Function

    Hey.

    I'm currently having an issue with the Windows Vista search function. I noticed the problem when I transfered some pictures from my digital camera to my computer and then to a CD. I then deleted the files using 'SHIFT+DEL'. Now, when I do a search for pictures, the files that I deleted still pop up. This is fine and dandy, though I tend to use the search quite a bit and it's a pain in the butt to have to sift thru every single picture I have ever taken.

    I was just wondering if any of you knew how to resolve this. Thanks a lot for your time and help! :)

    Shadow copy maybe. Try deleting them the old regular way like puting the files on the trash bin
