I used winamp for a long time but thought I would use WMP 10 instead. But I can't seem to find a way to get it into to systray. I found that program powertoys from MS but when I install it nothing happends, no program to start no new add-ons (I followed instrctions from MS homepage). I uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, and gave up. I would like to think that the system tray thing is a regedit function of some sort, but have no idea.
Is there any other free aps or a regedit for me to apply? Or another solution?
I have Windows XP Pro

Right click on the taskbar. Select Toolbars, then click on Windows Media Player. Now when you minimize the player, it will go to the system tray.

No other ideas?

I don't know if you can get it in your system tray or not, but another option is to add it to the quick launch bar, which hangs out beside the start button.
Does this help at all?

I like Quintessential Player which will go to the tray.

But ehmmm adding it to the quick launch? That would not do any good if I'm correct -

I don't think it's possible, I've looked around myself too and found various powertool addons for WMP but none seem to work.

I use jetaudio 6.XX, which's great for me. You can minimize it to systray and hide the playlist in right or, left, top, down; and will appear when moving mouse corsor over it.
