Do you know a web site that has all the plug-ins available for Windows Media Player 11 (a bit like the Firefox millions of add-ons to choose from in one place). What is the very best codec upgrade too, I want to glue WMA and/or MP3 too, preferably inside the player. Thank you to rate the "must" you have installed.

    Oh okay, thank you.

    For the rest :)

I noticed when I rip a CD, WMP11 make one file of each track!

I want to make 1 file of each CD because they are audiobooks.

Yeah VLC, MPC, and WinAmp are cool and all but I like WMP 11.

I use Winamp as my MP3 player.
For watching videos and everything else, I have the Combined Community Codec Pack.

I can't really help you with WMP since I don't use it a lot but I'm sure there are add-ons out there to do what you want it to do.

I use Windows Media Player for playing music and watching videos. For some reason if there is a format of video which WMP11 doesnt recognize, then VLC is my alternative.

Why would you want WMP 11? If you need to use any Windows Media files use WMP 10.

I want to use wmp 11 because it looks better than wmp 10 to me. It's all about the gui, that's why i don't use mpc and vlc.

Functionality is always priority for me but GUI is right there. Besides, its 2007 and all good software looks good. Time to get with the times. :)

Even if the prettier software is full of DRM stuff put there to hamper your free use of the media you play in it?

I don't notice any drm or whatever in wmp when i play my anime. It runs just like in zoomplayer and vlc.
