Whenever I change the window size of Windows Media Center from window to full screen or vice versa, the screen begins the flash and I get a message stating that the graphics card is not responding. Does anybody have any suggestions to fix this?

and chipset drivers. and disk controller drivers. and system bios (which should include any video bios updates).

without more info on the error (system error log) and the exact model of your laptop, it's kind of hard to guess.
