If the program is really annoying, then uninstall it, and then try and delete the folder. It may be that Windows Live is running in the backgorund, and stopping you from deleting the program.

You can try using this program http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/ But I wouldn't be surprised if WLM makes a new folder with the same name the next time it starts up.

nevermind i figured it out. windows live removes the folder when you uninstall the messsenger. when you reinstall the messenger it adds the files again. i dont know how it does it but it freaks me out

i realized that the folder was a shortcut to a hidden microsoft folder in my local settings. once you get into the hidden folder you can delete at your will. its kind of ghey but what can you do.

    thanks for the quick replies.
