    Windows Live 09 installer problems

    Ok this may seem like a old problem but i've tried everything u guys have suggested for other ppl and i still can't install windows live 09 i'm running Windows vista and i get the problem with installing the messenger the error code is hr:0x80070643 very annoying this is if u have any more ideas would be helpful

    Fresh install of Vista?
    Did you do Windows Updates first?

    don't have a cd to do that and windows update fails when i try to update vista that way and i just tryed to manualy update vista and that failed aswell.

    is there an error code when it fails to do the windows update?

    Yes it does give me a error code and the code is 80080005 Windows Update has encountered and unknown error. and the get help with this error button is a complete waste of time.

    Is this a complete Vista install, or is it a stripped down (vlite) version?
