This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Windows Install Error Message

    I was reformatting my g/f's computer and reinstalling windows. When it gets to the configure network part it says something about not being able to find the file s24trans.sys for the wlan transport protocol.

    When I skipped it and finished the setup the wireless wouldn't get the IP address anymore.

    Any suggestions :confused:

    During the Windows installation process, skip the network setup. After Windows installs, install the wireless drivers.
