I just recently started using IE8 to get the feel for it, and I've noticed that the Quick Links javascript menu is very slow to render on this forum. Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed slow javascript with IE8 running in Windows 7? I think it's something with just this forum, because I haven't noticed the slow javascript menu on other sites that use vBulletin.

    Try running in compatibility mode.

Yep, that did the trick. I tried compatibility mode yesterday and it didn't make any difference. Now - it does. Funny how I need compatibility mode on this vBulletin board, but not others. Hmmm. Looks like these templates need to be updated.
