Hey, I installed a Windows 7 RC build before on this netbook, it had problems. Now, the problems have returned on the RTM version, which are similar to the RC build.

Here is all the information I can give:
bsod.zip are all my minidump files.

    From the horse's mouth:
"...Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. ..."

Maybe that could be the problem? Not sure.....

bad memory is a good bet,but I would check drivers first

    Start > type
    verifier
in the search box and run through all the scenearios given and report back

What does verifier actually do? I ran it to the point of it saying: "Click Finish to Verify drivers. The current settings will be saved and this program will exit." I canceled it, not knowing what it was REALLY about to do. (I didn't want to tie my machine up for an extended period of time.)

    gerryf19,

That's doesn't tell me a lot, unless I want to navigate through a labyrinth of web pages to sus it out. I was hoping for some sort of "executive summary" sort of thing. More specifically does it reboot the machine, does it continue to run in the background? Does it run until told to stop? I see it creates a bunch of counters which would imply it does run until told to no longer do so. Etc.

I've had this error on the same notebook in Windows 7 RC period. I was expecting RTM to solve it, but it sort of didn't, but it's less this time.

I got this in the selection of "find drivers for old versions of Windows" or something. It looks like an old Intel driver maybe causing crashes?

I never had these errors in XP, so I don't think it's bad memory.

Im gonna do a reformat again to start over from scratch. It's gotten slow already. The other computers at home run Windows 7 without a hitch, even my dad's MacBook can run it really well, except this one :\
