Hi, I read the other thread about hibernation mode causing battery drain but that was focused mainly on Vista (and fortunately the problem was solved for the OP). I'm having this problem with Windows 7. I was going to post this in a Fujitsu forum (I have a T4310) but thought this might be a better place to begin. I should note that I've been doing my drainage testing over 72 hours (3 days) since after 24 hours, my battery indicator still reads 100% but after 72 hours, I have just over 80% left. Needless to say, I haven't used this laptop alot over the last couple of weeks while I've been testing different settings. There's no drain when the battery is removed from the laptop for 72 hours so there's no defect in the battery itself. There's also no drain when the battery is in but the laptop is shut off.

These are the things I checked:
    - "powercfg -devicequery wake_armed" returns nothing
    - I've gone through the device manager and made sure the Power Management property (if it exists) of every device has "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" checked and "Allow this device to wake the computer" is grayed out
Some of my Power Options are:
    - Hybrid mode is disabled
    - "Lid Close" and "Power Button" actions are set to "Do Nothing"
    - "Wake timers" are disabled
    - "USB selective suspend setting" is enabled
    - Where ever possible, I've chosen the power option to optimize battery life
    - I've even disabled some devices like Bluetooth, LAN and the Fingerprint reader and even the HD audio controller (a problem under Vista)

There might be a couple of other things I checked but maybe some one has an idea of what's wrong. I've even restored the sytem to it's factory image and tried the factory shipped settings (same problem). I read on these forums that someone had around a 5% battery drain over 5 days so I don't think 20% over 3 days is normal. Most people say they have zero battery drain in hibernation mode but I don't know how long they've waited (not using the laptop for 3 days straight is tough!). Has anyone checked how much their battery has drained over an extended period of time ( >24 hours)?
