    Dear All,

I started seeing distorted system tray icons since this morning.. was trying to update the nvidia graphics display driver (for NVS 300), but before I did, there was a display driver crash (and it recovered promptly)... since then, I am seeing the icons distorted... (picture attached).

Is there any way I can fix this?

Thanks a lot in advance. Cheers.

Thanks for your message.. and yes, me too.. this is the first time I am seeing this happen..

I have tried rebooting and all that, including rebuilding the icon cache! But no success in fixing it.

I read from some old threads here in NBR, where some others had issues with distorted system tray icons (though it was in Win XP and the other older version' of Windows)... one suggestion was to try changing the DPI setting, restart, change it back to what it was, and restart.... I'm going to try that now.. Let' see if it fixes it. Will be back soon..

Edit: The DPI suggestion worked.. now its all back to normal. I increased the DPI, restarted the system and then changed it back to 100% (as before) and now the system tray icons are fine and as they should be.
