The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Windows 7 DDL Links?

    Has anyone found a working DDL link for the beta? In the discussion thread there was one from the MS site, but it is now broken. I'm currently downloading via BT, but given the current rate, I'll be done sometime next week. Has anyone found another direct download link for it?

    I was able to do it through the microsoft site in IE, not FF though, just about half an hour ago.

    yah...using FF gave me the "we're sorry we can't find the page" error <.<


    Though I just tried MrPresident's link for 32 bit and it worked with FF.

    That's strange. I've downloaded both 32-bit and 64-bit numerous times in Firefox 3.0.5. Maybe you guys are using a different version?

    It wouldn't let me use FF when I tried going through the main windows 7 page to get to the download, when I used your link it worked for me in FF
