Hi guys, this is not terribly important, rather a small annoyance. In Windows 7 Home Premium x64, if I open a system window such as Disk Management or Device Manager, then go to View menu and select Customize, whatever choices I make in the Customize View panel will be reset when I open that system window again. Any idea what's causing this behavior?

I never noticed that before. Did some tests, and on my Win7 HP x64, I have the same behavior. I guess "customize" only means for your current open session. -
Wondering if there's some registry edit that would disable this behavior...

Once workaround is to create a custom console - Run - MMC - from blank console- File- Add remove snapin - choose Disk Manage.. customize it and do save as to a convenient location . Then all custom settings will be saved.
Dragnoak and alexhawker like this.
