I have been experiencing some issues while trying to play CS 1.6 (open GL) with Windows 7 B 64. (Thinkpad T400: ATI HD3470)

It _does_ run (which I've read some users are having trouble doing), and the frame-rate seems decent, but the mouse is ridiculously delayed. I switched to D3D and face no such issue except that it runs very purely (typical of D3D with HL).

I have a feeling it's due to the mentioned OpenGL support, or lack thereof, in W7. Not only that, I can't seem to change/update my drivers or Catalyst CC.

My main question- will Windows 7 Beta 32 Bit yield the same results? I am just wondering whether this is a W7 issue, or 64bit issue.

I've read up on this but most people are having a problem simply getting it to run, or run smoothly; mine seems a bit different. It almost feels like VSYNC is on (only for Open GL), even though I disable it in the CCC.

    Any help would be great..

The only way I could get OpenGL to run out of the box with 64 bit W7 Beta was in a window and aero had to be enabled otherwise OpenGL was pretty much unusable. :(

aww that's what I was afraid of.

Does 32 bit have the same issue? If I have time this weekend I may try to reformat with it and test, but would appreciate a heads up if it will be just as bad :). (works fine on Vista)
