This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I wanted to fix my brothers HP Probook 4510S, but couldn't get the WLAN button to work, it was stuck at OFF.

    There are many suggestions out there, including editing the registry, install HP Wireless Assistant, edit advanced device settings in Device Manager...

    None of them worked for me, but restoring BIOS to default settings did it! See link.

    I know I've seen people having trouble with this.
