    WinFixer 2005

    My friend has winfixer on his computer and its really enoying, can somebody tell me how to remove it?
    I tried:
    -disable in "msconfig" (also tried to uneinstall in diagnostic startup)
    -killing the process
    -Uninstaling
    -Serching and deleting with windows
    -deleting from program files
    -disable in "msconfig"

    you mean it's one of those adware/spyware type of programs?

    If so, get adaware or microsoft's anti-spyware and run it.

    I got that WinFixer too on my computer some how, its a spyware/adware program that tells you that you have spyware/adware/trojans/etc. It said my computer had 1076 things wrong with it, i dont think so! What worked for me was just uninstalling it in the control panel.

    When I uninstall it, and restart it just starts scaning on startup again

    use "hijackthis". i used that to remove the bigger threat spyware that just keeps on reappearing.
