I have been wondering about this for a while: For some applications, I see a slight window flicker, as if the window is refreshing, a couple of seconds (typically fpur to six seconds) after I switch sub-windows. This only happens with certain applications. A good example if MS Outlook 2010: When I change from one mail folder to another, or from email to the calendar, the Outlook window only, not the whole screen, flickers very briefly, as if the whole window is redrawn. This happens only once. Is anybody else seeing this?

This is on Windows 7 x64, with an NVidia FX3600 card on a quad-core Precision M6400.
