This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Win7 Taskbar Issues

    Reinstalled Win7 on my toughbook this evening to go back to 32 bit, now the taskbar is only showing single icons for any application I have open, ie: if I have 3 windows of IE/Firefox/Explorer, etc it only shows one, and I have to click on that icon to bring up the other windows, even if each window has multiple tabs

    how do I prevent this from happening? I have tried every option I can think of, but no joy :-(

    Ignore....

    Taskbar & Start Menu Properties -> never combine

    the mental midget that thought combining any of that needs a kick up the khyber.....
