    Well this is what it looks like when i play video regardless of the player...

    klite codec pack and Divex codec

    It might be a problem with the codec, have you tried using another one?

    which would you recommend? ive tried installing seperately in the past just to find out they cause more issues.

    community combined codecs pack... i think thats what its called

    I use the XviD codec, and it runs just about everything great:

    Can't say for sure if it's completely all inclusive, but I have yet to find a video I can't play.
