    Hi.

I'm just wondering if win XP home can utilize the 2 CPU or core duo's in my W3J...

I know that win XP home will run on the laptop... just wondering whether it will utilize both processors.... since that was supposedly one of the benifits of win XP pro

    Thanks

As long as you have SP2 Win XP Home should do just as well as Pro with dual cores. Win XP Home does not support Dual physical CPU's(2 CPU, 2 sockets) but it does support dual core(1 socket, 1 CPU, 2 cores)

Why would you want to put XP Home onto it when it comes with an XP Pro CD?

    Thanks miner

To abN610, I got my W3J in HK, and they come with home edition instead of pro
