Quick question and hope somone can give some useful suggestions.

I recently, two days ago, installed Win 7 Pro 64bit on my Inspiron 1720. Yesterday I was watching a dvd in the dark with headphones. For some odd reason my Webcam seemed to be installing the drivers over and over. The webcam light would flicker (above the screen, webcam is integrated) and i got the sound that is normally given when new hardware is detected. This happened several times. I thought it was odd, and to keep it from happening I disabled the driver. I tweaked the system to optimize the SSD, but did nothing relating to the webcam.

Has anyone experienced this? Any work around other than diabling the driver when not in use?
