Where can I find the latest driver for PM45 Express Chipset from Intel site? The latest one from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ is dated June 2008 does not support PM45 since it was released later than that. The release notes doesn't have PM45 listed anywhere confirm this.

I have an PM45 chipset, and i have installed as below, but my SATA driver still only shows as 2008, I recommend trying DriverMAX and updating 1 at a time.

You can download from the link below, install the Installation Utility, then the Intel® Matrix Storage Manager.

You need not update the chipset driver, unless you have problems. The driver should be installed immediately after a clean install.

    Thanx Tinderbox and coolguy,

So, as I will do a clean install of Vista I guess that I should install those drivers for the PM45 :) Won't my laptop work properly if I do not install it? It will be Vista 64, maybe I should do it to avoid any problems, or?
    Cheers,
    Ken
