    I cant seem to find the link to the installer, I'm trying out Vista and I want to get SP1 ASAP.

    I'm not sure Vista would be too friendly with your Inspiron 1501.
    Anyways, you can get SP1 standalone from Microsoft.com.
    Just go to Google and type Vista SP1. It should be your first result.

    Hell, I might as well, I have a free Express upgrade to it...

    I got the standalone, but it's huge. Search deep , and it will pop up(the update I mean)

    Put some RAM in it and it'll probably do alright. But 1 gb?... prob'ly not so great. (Haven't tried though.)
