I just got my new laptop and I don't see RUN anywhere! What's going on :| Of all the things to remove.

Try pressing the Win key + R.

It's also included into the search bar.
You can type msconfig or anything in it and it works -
there's an easier way just right click on the start menu select properties and select customize start menu and scroll down and there should be a box you can select for the run command then it should show up every time you go to the start menu

The easiest way is Win+R

No need of run... supposed you wanted to execute say, msconfig , then just press windows key or click start and just start typing msconfig and press enter. That itself works like run, and I just love it!

I like it too, you can find applications very fast without going into my computer and look for the specific folder.

That's strange, my Vista Home Premium SP1, the Run is not hidden by default, I did the fresh installation myself. Maybe I have bad short memory and I actually unhidden it?
