When I'm going to shut down on my computer, I typically put it in hibernate. However, when I went to do that today, there was no hibernate function to be found, only sleep (which I almost never use unless I'm going to quickly move to a different spot and continue where I left off).

The only change since this incident (other than regular Norton security) was an update of my Adobe editing software. What do?

Just checked, and the option doesn't seem to be there in 7. JOSEA has the method right though. Open a command prompt with admin rights and type powercfg -h on.
