I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. I had various problems doing the upgrade. I need to re install Windows 7 but do not want to first install Vista again.

Will Microsoft give me a version of Windows 7 that I do not need to upgrade from Vista?

Is there anywhere else I can get a copy?

Download the Windows 7 x64 Ultimate ISO and unpack the iso file onto a 4GB or larger USB flash drive using the Microsoft USB/DVD Tool.

After the files are on the USB stick open the files and expand the Sources folder. In there find ei.cfg and delete it so all versions of Widows 7 x64 can be installed from a single USB stick

What product do you have a key for? Windows Vista or 7? And which version? It matters cause a Windows 7 upgrade key may not work for a Windows 7 retail ISO. Plus, if it's an OEM key (like if you got it from your system manufacturer) then you may need to get the standalone Windows ISO from your OEM.

But I digress, here is the site where I got my backup Windows 7 ISOs from: Original and Untouched Windows 7 with SP1 ISO (32-bit and 64-bit)

Not unless you had a previous Windows 7 and have a receipt to prove you bought one before hand. And if the upgraded doesn't have a windows 7 key you won't be able to install it...and get 30 days trial. And what your asking a complete reinstall will require you buy a full version of Windows7 the upgrade will not work on full upgrade. You will have to purchase a new license to do that. You can get a copy here but without a License key aka COA...your download will last 30 days and of then you will blocked from many features...
