    What the hell is Windows Vista business MEDIA??

    Hello guys please tell me the difference between the vista business MEDIA version and the regular version. how come the price is so different? Does a Media version expire in the future?

    In other words they send you the Media in case you crash the preinstalled, So you can restore from the disk (media).

    so the media is a backup, and it's not gonna install a Vista OS onto a machine unless I already have one, am I correct? thanks HP Fan and Robert in Sadorus

    Yes, Not all new systems come with the Media usually you have to pay for it so you can have a hard copy of your OS, But since alot of new systems come preinstalled with the OS in a recovery partition they dont always include the media. So if it comes with the Media then thats a good thing.
