A few day ago someone posted a link to me and i clicked on it and it has something to do with clicking yes or checking it to prevent about 75 or 80 sites to not send me advertisement... something to that effect. It does say it doesn't guarantee it i believe.

Does anyone know the name of this website? Im not sure if it was this forum or another that the person posted this but i cannot find it.

I know it has something that says send this information to those tracking site so they won't track you. The wording is similar to that i believe.

If you use Firefox or Chrome, then search for an add-on called Disconnect

that prevents sites from tracking you and also speeds up your browsing since the pages has to load less stuff

Yes that's a must these days to block all malicious websites and malware connecting to your computer

I'd also throw in the suggestion to use AdBlock Plus and Ghostery, the first being fairly obvious and the latter helping with blocking scripts from running in your browser (including trackers).
