I'm getting a new laptop in January with Vista 64 bit installed. Any suggestions as to the one which catches the most viruses/malware?

    Cheers!

This marries up with what I've heard so far: a toss up between Kaspersky, Nod32 and Avira. Any preference? Note I am going to be running Vista 64 bit and not XP 64 bit if that makes a difference?

I was using NOD32 with Vista 64...it was the first (or one of them) certified for it..

I am using Avira with Vista x64 (system in signature).

It has worked flawlessly so far.

Avira is a good one...I have it on three other laptops in the house, NOD32 on this one.
